MHELO (Mental Health Expert Led Opportunities) Network Self-Care Toolkit
MHELO have come together to create a self-care toolkit which has been designed by people with experience of mental ill health to support and empower others to take charge of their mental health.
MHELO (Mental Health Experience Led Opportunities) is an independent network for people in Gloucestershire to have a collective voice and a project within Inclusion Gloucestershire. It exists to ensure that the voice of our experts by experience is heard and welcomes people from all backgrounds and all walks of life, providing a safe, supportive, and user-led space.
People’s experience and views are what empowers the VOICE of the present, and the future, of mental health in Gloucestershire and MHELO is a user-led network of individuals who want to speak about their experiences of mental ill health, and services, within Gloucestershire to bring about change.
As a network MHELO have come together to create a self-care toolkit which has been designed by people with experience of mental ill health to support and empower others to take charge of their mental health.
MHELO are putting on a launch event in November, and invite those interested to come along to find out more about the self-care toolkit and MHELO.
MHELO currently have a downloadable version on their website, which will soon be an editable PDF and they will also have hard copies at their launch event in November.
