The Contemporary Visual Arts Network (CVAN) are currently seeking passionate and dedicated visual art professionals for recruitment for two roles at CVAN.

Communications and Campaign Manager (£35,000 p/a pro rata, 3 days a week, closes 20 October)
Co-ordinator, Fair and Equitable programme (freelance, £150 a day for 24 days over 4-5 months between Nov 21 – Mar 22, closes 18 October).
Coordinator, Fair and Equitable programme
CVAN is seeking a passionate and dedicated visual arts professional to collaborate and work closely with the Consultant Producer, Dr Cecilia Wee, to support the smooth running of the Fair and Equitable programme.
This role is part of the Baltic’s national sector development plan and is contracted through the charity, managed by the Director but sits outside the core business of the BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art.
Reports to: Consultant Producer, Fair and Equitable programme, CVAN National team
Salary: Freelance, £150 a day for 24 days over 4-5 months (1.5 days a week), with the opportunity to extend beyond this period
Location: Team members are based across England, working from home (there is also access to a desk space CVAN office in Bristol, if required)
Hours: Flexible. Core team office hours are Monday 9.30-5.30pm
Access: CVAN works to meet reasonable adjustments and access requirements of team members
Duration of work: November 2021 – March 2022

Campaign and Communications Manager
CVAN is seeking a passionate and dedicated visual art professional to manage the lobbying, advocacy and sector communication for and on behalf of the Network in England. We seek an individual who is passionate about our sector, understands its value, and wants to see reform.
This role is part of the Baltic’s national sector development plan and is contracted through the charity, managed by the Director but sits outside the core business of the BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art. This post is anticipated as a freelance role.
Reports to: Director, CVAN
Responsible for: Freelance team and partnerships
Salary: £35,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 3 days a week until September 2022. The hours will drop down to 2 days a week until March 2023 due to funding.
