Developing a strategic framework for arts, health and wellbeing
INTRODUCTION
Arts & Health South West has worked with a group of arts and health practitioners over several years. They are informally called ‘area leads’ and represent each of the counties in the south west region. Together we developed the first draft of a Strategic Framework for Arts, Health and Wellbeing in the south west.
Julia Fortier Puebla, a public health doctoral student at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine has helped facilitate the process and conducted research interviews with a wide number of stakeholders from health, arts, local government and academia.

This Framework calls everyone to action – it is a living, evolving document intended to facilitate collaborative activity across the south west. Beneficiaries, practitioners, community organisations, health and social care agencies, funders and political bodies are invited to use the Framework and join in.
