Voluntary Arts marks 30 years of supporting creative activity with relaunch as Creative Lives

To mark their 30th Anniversary, Voluntary Arts has relaunched themselves as Creative Lives and announced a number of new or enhanced initiatives to support communities to galvanise the surge of creativity in response to COVID-19.

Voluntary Arts recently celebrated 30 years of championing community and volunteer-led creative activity by relaunching themselves as Creative Lives. The organisation also announced the launch of a number of new or enhanced initiatives to support communities to galvanise the surge of creativity in response to COVID-19 and reshape how we live post-pandemic.

Initiatives include Creative Learning, a new suite of online training designed to help voluntary and community groups thrive and grow and the launch of the Creative Lives Awards (formerly EPIC awards) to celebrate the staggering creative contribution everyone has witnessed across 2020/21.

Creative Lives will also be launching a new consultancy offer, Creative Citizens for local authorities, who are seeking to deepen their understanding and engagement with local arts and creative groups.

The organisation has also launched 30 Creative Lives – a new series of photographs and individual testimonies celebrating the lives of 30 people across the UK and Ireland for whom creative activity provides purpose, identity and quality of life.
