The Loss Project – a new initiative

The Loss Project CIC is a new initiative working across the UK and beyond aimed at connecting people in local communities through the experience of loss, death, dying or trauma.

The Loss Project is a new initiative working across the UK and beyond aimed at connecting people in local communities through the experience of loss, death, dying or trauma.

Through community conversations, social action and creative projects The Loss Project aims to support communities to become more open and connected, as losses can come in various forms; the loss of independence, confidence, sense of self and of course, of loved ones.

The Loss Project is on a mission to reimagine traditional services, to challenge the status quo and to provide life affirming programmes that gives people the tools and confidence to support themselves and their communities. As facilitators, connectors, and collaborators. The Loss Project believes that a collective approach to these issues, can help to transform a better connected, and more resilient society.

The Loss Project hosts a free online space for people to come together and share what’s on their mind, as well as free creative writing workshops for people who have experienced grief and bereavement.
