Launch of Quay Words Podcast
Quay Words is a Literature Works programme which takes place at the historic Exeter Custom House. Unable to use the building during the recent pandemic, the Quay Words Podcast is an innovative way of sharing the stories of Exeter Custom House and the city of Exeter.
The first two podcast’s are out!
Featuring a reading by Quay Words’ first ever writer-in-residence, Louisa Adjoa Parker. She reads her Quay Words commissioned narrative poem ‘Let the river sing’.
The second episode of the Quay Words podcast is all about storytelling. Literature Works CEO Helen Chaloner is in conversation with storyteller Katy Cawkwell. Katy talks about her inspiration, motivation and life as a storyteller, and treats you to a story.
These episodes are available on Apple podcasts and the Google Playstore and on the Quay Words website via SoundCloud.
