Creativity and Wellbeing Week is back for 2022 (16th – 22nd May) – Add Your Events!
Creativity and Wellbeing week is a partnership between London Arts in Health Forum and the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance. It is an open festival encouraging anyone who wants to host an event focused on culture, arts and wellbeing to join the programme.
Creativity and Wellbeing Week (C&WW) is back for 2022, from 16th to 22nd May with the theme of ‘Get Creative, Get Outdoors’.
The week, run by London Arts in Health and the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance, started as a small event based in London in 2012, to coincide with the Olympics. In 2019 the week went national for the first time – allowing thousands more people across the UK to participate in culture and creative activities. The festival creates core partnership events, while encouraging and supporting organisations and individuals to organise their own activities.
Events can take any art form and can be held in clinical settings, cultural buildings or in the community – as long as they involve either accessing or participating in cultural activities that improve health or wellbeing.
Visit the website to see how you can promote your activities and events and see what others are doing. And don’t worry if you think your activities aren’t in keeping with the theme – all creative health practices are welcomed.
HOW TO TAKE PART:
You need to register and tell C&WW about yourself. You can be an individual or an organisation of any size. Once you have registered you will have your own platform on the site where you can post events, tell people about who you are and also communicate with others
Once you are registered you can add events which will be uploaded to C&WW listings.
C&WW will also be providing you with templates and resources so you can add our festival badge to your website and encourage your followers on social media. They will be doing lots to shout about the festival so if you have a great story to tell them get in touch.
The earlier you get your event registered the better C&WW can promote you. They will be looking for guest blogs, twitter takeovers and case studies to place with the media so keep an eye out for opportunities.
