In association with the Beyond programme, Graeae Theatre Company is running a series of free online CPD and wellbeing workshops for Deaf and disabled artists affected by the pandemic.
Covid-19 has hit every industry, in every corner of our country hard, and the cultural and entertainment sector is no exception. For Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse creatives already on the peripheries, opportunities have fallen further and further from our grasp.
In association with Beyond, launched last year, Graeae are now delighted to announce Beyond: Develop, a series of FREE online CPD (Creative Professional Development) and wellbeing workshops for Deaf and disabled artists affected by the pandemic. Throughout these sessions, Graeae aim to support artists in finding new ways to move forward in the creative industry, while exploring ways to diversify skills and remain resilient.
Graeae are working with some of the best arts facilitators in the country to deliver bespoke sessions, seeking to empower their artists to keep on keeping on, despite the world around us and the industry grinding to a halt.
Facilitators include Graeae’s Artistic Director Jenny Sealey MBE, Lesley Ewen, Jo Verrent, Sarah Hughes, Funlola Olufunwa, Graeae’s Associate Director Nickie Miles-Wildin and many more.
Sign-ups for the programme has closed, but keep your eyes peeled on their website for further announcements about this training – graeae.org/our-work/beyond-develop/
