AHSW Big Give Christmas Challenge Fundraising Appeal 2020
Help us raise funds for mental health work across the region, by donating to our AHSW Big Give Christmas Challenge from 1st – 8th December.
Any donation we receive will be DOUBLED by the Big Give.
This December we’re asking you to support us in tackling health inequalities across the South West in support for better mental health by making a donation to our Arts and Health South West Big Give Christmas Challenge Appeal.
Why donate to the Arts and Health South West Big Give Christmas Challenge?
For one week only your donation will be DOUBLED at no extra cost to you!
Your support will help increase our capacity and support to local cultural practitioners and organisations to help them develop their mental health work as a strategic priority, ensuring they are well informed with evidence and practical toolkits, as well reducing pressure on health services through empowering these networks to support non-medical interventions.
Through your donation, you’ll enable greater access to creative activities for individuals whose life experiences have made them more vulnerable to ill-health or poor mental health, and you’ll give a voice to those diverse communities across the region who are experiencing health inequalities and barriers to accessing arts and culture.
In the recent context of Covid-19, we have seen a greater need to support mental health work across the South West, as the epidemic has increased mental health problems as well as exacerbated and starkly revealed existing health inequalities across the region.
Donations of any size will make a real difference to our Big Give Christmas Appeal, as for every pound donated it is MATCHED via the Big Give.
