Paul Hamlyn Foundation reopens UK Funds
The Paul Hamlyn Foundation reopens UK Funds to new applications, with some changes to their criteria and processes.
Since the Paul Hamlyn Foundation paused new applications to their Funds in April, they have been working hard focusing their effort and resource to ensure their grantees and the communities they work with can survive the impact of the pandemic.
Reopening their UK Funds on Friday 30 October, they have published a new Strategy which affirmed the strategic direction for the Foundation, underpinned by a commitment to social justice. Also, they have revised some criteria and processes which reflect what has worked well over the last few months, with more flexibility and better responsiveness to applicants.
Some of their funding priorities are:
- Arts access and participation
- Education and learning through the arts
- Migration and integration
- Investing in young people
- Nurturing ideas and people
As the foundation does not set deadlines, they suggest not to apply immediately, as they are anticipating a high demand, but they hope to be able to let people know relatively quickly if they can’t support their application.
