About this Event

Why is creativity vital in supporting individual and community wellbeing? How do creative connections keep people going through difficult times? What is the role for arts activities in social prescribing and community building?

This FREE event is particularly recommended for social prescribers, link workers, community builders, and voluntary and community organisations who support people in vulnerable circumstances.

The webinar panel and discussion will explore the impact of workshops delivered by Significant Seams CIC and funded by Devon County Council and Devon NHS Partnership Trust.

Before the pandemic, Significant Seams offered a portfolio of six in-person courses to Devon Recovery Learning Community, part of the NHS. Since the pandemic struck, DRLC have doubled this portfolio with a series of remote courses developed with the support of Arts Council England and Devon Community Foundation. Now, they try to take a shared breath and explore the impact of these courses, in conversation with course participants and Significant Seams’ artist facilitators.
