Online Webinar: Challenges and opportunities for co-production in a changing world

09/07/20 to 09/07/20
12.00pm - 1.00pm
Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE)

About this Event

Co-production, working in equal partnership with people using services, carers, families and citizens to develop social care services, is more crucial now than ever. One of the inspiring features of this pandemic is seeing how co-production has come into its own in local communities to find solutions to the problems we have been facing. It has thrown up challenges too – with many involved with their own services concerned about time and budget constraints that could lead to service providers putting the brakes on genuine co-production.

With this pre-recorded webinar, Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) hope to illustrate that, despite the COVID-19 crisis, there are strong opportunities to embed co-production further into society, including social care hitting the headlines, an increase in remote working and an increase in community responsibility.

Join Laura Able, Ossie Stuart and Jordan Wosik to hear about their experiences with co-production over the last few months, including their hopes for the future.

The event is free, but you need to register via the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) website.
