The People Place Power Conference
The People Place Power conference is an online meeting place for everyone interested in shifting approaches in inclusive arts and cultural engagement.
Through a series of lively provocations, rich conversations, practical workshops and creative elements the conference will explore, challenge thinking and encourage critical reflection on the themes of power, collaboration, co-creation, ownership, relevance and place.
People, Place, Power participants and contributors will include leading figures from within and beyond the arts and cultural sector, artists, as well as CPP participants and leaders.
The conference will bring together leading voices from within and beyond the arts sector, as well as participants, artists and Creative People and Places teams.
Confirmed speakers and contributors include Donna Walker-Khune; Dr Darren Henley OBE and Rebecca Blackman – Arts Council England; Creative Civic Change; Failspace Project; Mark Robinson and friends – Thinking Practice; The Poetry Takeaway; Dawn Cameron; Creative Places Tuam / Create Ireland; Creative Lives (formerly Voluntary Arts); Kerry Wykes and China Plate; The Agency Programme by Battersea Arts Centre and Contact; Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries; Yorkshire Dance and Tin Arts; CADA: the Creative Ageing Development Agency; Outdoor Arts; Rob Hopkins (Author of From What Is to What If’) plus artists, participants and staff from the Creative People and Places network.
