The Social Prescribing Network is hosting the 3rd International Social Prescribing Network Conference online
Building on a reputation for providing well organised, informative conferences with a range of speakers, learning opportunities and networking. The Social Prescribing Network is hosting the 3rd International Social Prescribing Network Conference online, the event will run over two days.
The programme is still being finalised but will include keynotes from Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester and Dr Kate Mulligan, Assistant Professor at University of Toronto and winner of the Best International Social Prescribing Scheme 2018 as well as sessions on Culture, Arts and Health in social prescribing, the role of ‘green prescribing’, social prescribing for children and young people and how social prescribing supports homeless people.
The conference is aimed at anyone, from anywhere in the world who has a role in social prescribing or is interested in developing social prescribing – from providers of social prescribing activities and service users, through to the commissioners of services and everyone in between. The content is provided to facilitate collaboration and learning from colleagues in other social prescribing roles and sectors. The conference is international and delegates from all countries around the world are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
