About this Event

Facilitating mental health and wellbeing through creativity – As well as exploring the benefits of creativity for mental wellbeing, this session includes mental health awareness, maintaining healthy boundaries, and safe and ethical practice. The session will consider how to bring the Five Ways to Wellbeing into creative workshops and also the challenges of delivering during and post the pandemic.

The session will be delivered by Jayne Howard, Director of Arts Well CIC. Jayne has over 15 years experience of working in arts and health, at both operational and strategic level. She is a fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs and the RSA.

Groups will run on Zoom, with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 16, allowing for plenty of discussion with the emphasis on enabling you to put your learning into practice.

Cost £25 General, £15 Concessions

In light of the financial impact of Covid-19 upon many freelancers and small arts organisations, this workshop is available for a concessionary price or a donation if you would otherwise be unable to participate.
