About the Event

Arts and Health South West (AHSW) are being joined by Stephen James-Yeoman, BBC Arts Commissioning Executive Digital and Festivals, for a New Year reflection and conversation about how everyday creativity can support wellbeing. Focusing on how BBC programming encourages people to get involved in creative activities, Stephen will discuss the power of creativity especially during 2020 when people were empowered to watch and participate in creativity at home during some of the most challenging times during lockdown.

This online event will offer attendees the chance to pose questions to Stephen alongside questions posed by AHSW Trustee Gillian Taylor. Ahead of our 2021 Spring Season of events, this event will be a great opportunity for discussion about the power of creativity and culture to transform our health and wellbeing.
