A Conversation with David Shrigley part of AHSW Big Give Events
Join us for an inspiring lunchtime conversation with British Visual Artist David Shrigley OBE. Gillian Taylor, Arts & Health South West Trustee, will talk to David Shrigley about his work and thoughts about the arts and mental health. This online event will also offer attendees the chance to pose questions to David, so a great opportunity for discussion about the benefits of the visual arts for wellbeing and better mental health.
We are delighted that David will be joining us for this event in support of our fundraising campaign for our regional South West work, as David lives some of the time in Devon. You can see David’s recent Lockdown Drawings here, as well a showcase of his beautiful illustrations for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing’s Creative Health Report.
This event is in support of Arts and Health South West Big Give Christmas Appeal: Flourishing Through Creativity- Supporting Better Mental Health, and so instead of a set ticket price we are encouraging attendees of this event to donate what they can to our Big Give Appeal when it goes live.
Donations of any size will make a real difference to our Big Give Christmas Appeal, as for every pound donated it is matched and DOUBLED via the Big Give from 1st – 8th December!
Anyone can donate to our AHSW Big Give Christmas Challenge Appeal from midday on Tuesday 1st December 2020, so attendees can commit their support in advance via our website
