The Abbeyfield Project: Case Study
Live Music Now in partnership with Reminiscence Learning
The Abbeyfield Project was a 12 week pilot taking place at Abbeyfield Nursing Home, Taunton, from March until June 2010. The project was a great success for Live Music Now, Reminiscence Learning, the Abbeyfield Nursing Home, and above all the participants, learning and developing through experience and practice.
Throughout the 12 week project the residents enjoyed various styles, approaches and techniques of music and workshops. The variety of styles and genres of music enriched the experience for the residents and played a part in giving the project its innovative character.
