A weekend retreat in beautiful, peaceful surroundings to explore how poems, stories and memoir can be used to enhance health and well-being. We will read and discuss examples from contemporary literature and use these as the basis for our own writing in response. This course is open to anyone with an interest in the topic, with any religious or spiritual beliefs or none. No previous experience is necessary and the emphasis is on creating possibilities for exploration in words. It will be of interest to people who work with clients or students using writing as well as those who have a personal interest.
For those using creative writing and reading in their work, certificates for Continuing Professional Development can be issued.
